Can customers make a booking?
EatClub is not a booking system. The discrete nature of the EatClub Card system is incompatible with pre-arranged bookings, as a booking would identify the user as an EatClub customer. If a customer makes a booking via the restaurant, the EatClub walk-in offer will become invalid.
Restaurants use the deals to fill spare tables. Making a booking and redeeming can potentially confuse restaurants when planning.
Venues create these offers when they have spare tables to fill, so customers shouldn’t need a reservation. In the event the venue is busy, they may have to wait for a free table.
